E03: How to Balance Taking Pictures of Our Kids and Being Present with Them
Finding a balancing between taking pictures of our kids but still being present with them can be a pretty big challenge. We can either make the mistake of taking too many pictures and missing the experience and the joy of the moment, or we can make the mistake of never taking any photos for fear of not being present.
Photography is one of my favorite hobbies so this is something I’ve struggled through and something I’ve definitely had to learn the hard way. I’m excited to talk about it on today’s episode and I’m hoping it might encourage you if this is something you struggle with too!
In this episode we discuss:
The importance of finding balance between taking pictures and being in the moment
How to simplify the process of taking pictures
Why you do'n’t need to worry about posing your kids
Setting time limits and boundaries
Why I suggest editing your images later
Why you don’t need to be afraid of putting your camera down
