E11: Intentional Health & Wellness for Every Season - With Amanda Wilson
Health and Wellness can be such. a. struggle. It can be one of the first things to go on the back burner when we get busy or overwhelmed.
On today’s episode of the grace and intention podcast, I got to sit and talk to Amanda Wilson, who is a health and wellness expert. Amanda has such an amazing take on fitness and nutrition and she’s actually the only fitness account I follow on Instagram!
She is a registered nurse, a mom to two young boys, and a foster mom as well. In this episode, Amanda talks about why health and fitness is more than achieving a certain look or a number on the scale. She talks about how moms (or busy women in general) can make working out and eating healthy a normal, everyday part of our lives.
She speaks to mom guilt and how to overcome it when it comes to making time to work out. She also talks about how to encourage our whole family to live healthy and we talk about ways to talk to our kids about body image and encourage healthy relationships with food and fitness. Her approach to health and wellness is so intentional, yet so full of grace, and I know you’re going to feel so motivated and encouraged after this episode.

If minimalism promises to simplify our lives, why is it so overwhelming to know where to start?!
As my friend Allie says, minimalism is freedom. It’s adding margin to your life. It’s creating breathing room so you can spend time focused on what truly matters.
Let’s work through the roadblocks and the questions together. Let me show you how and where to start.
It’s not about a rigid set of rules, it’s about making room for what matters.
